THANKS WINZ!!!
« on: March 06, 2015, 05:06:49 PM »
Winz stopped by tonight and dropped off a care package. Weber wok, wine barrel smoke wood, fish and chicken rub, and a jerky sample. Definitely wasn't expecting this. Thanks again. 8)

Talk about a great guy !!!!

Guessing here, after seeing recent cooks, that he's all done with cast iron woks & you receive the benefit !!!

In turn, I'll need to get him an ash pan for his new Lemon..... 8)

wow
where do you get that wood Winz
The winery around here stopped selling it because he gets better prices for the used cask and the other one uses Stainless Steel
My supply of wine soaked cask wood has dried up

Yeah I would like some of that wood too, but the winery by me sells their old ones off to the local beer brewery.

Nate,

It looks like you've got some serious cooking to do! (And eating ;D) Great looking haul!

Talk about a great guy !!!!

Bang on buckie!...

I too was spoiled by Mr @Winz with a care pack including some of the custom ranch ash pan clips, a beauty of a corkscrew and some rub.

Sorry to jack into your thread Nate but I figured it was on topic :) These were both very thoughtful gifts from a great guy and he deserves credit.

Cheers Winz

Don't worry @dazzo I have some wood for you  :)

Nate - it was a pleasure to finally meet another NorCal WKC'er.  And for the record, generosity goes both ways.  Check out this sweet piece of SS sheet that I left @Nate s house with.  I can finally stop harvesting material from SS performers!  I have some plans for this...
