Jeff and Brian, I just bought this one on eBay , does it look like the same model as yours?

I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Very cool.  I saw that it sold on Ebay after the auction was over.  Congrats.  Mine has the full enclosure for the battery under the blower.  Pretty much the same as yours other than color.   Have you used one yet?  They are pretty darn cool AND useful!  Get a battery and give it a try!

Thanks Jeff, I have it on good authority from agent RR that the red model was the only one sold by Weber and seen pictured here in the 63 catalogue

It will be sent to agent X and then forwarded onto me
But yes I will be using it and can't wait
Any chance you could post some pics or a link of the battery it uses, Just want to make sure there sold in OZ

If RR is right, you may have found a neat little gem.

Here is the battery that I'm pretty sure all these blowers use.  6 volt lantern battery.

It's just a normal Dolphin torch battery Joel.

It does look like a cool bit of kit. So the red one will work without a battery box?
If it breathes, we can cook it!

Jeff and Brian, I just bought this one on eBay , ...

You rascal!  Up until the last second I thought I had that baby in the bag. Nice score.
I picked up an identical one a couple months ago but its used and doesn't have the boxing. And the writing is pretty much rubbed off. But it works. It is cool.
Congrats.
