Weather in the low 90s.

Firing up the grill for the wok on a nice shady knoll...

...with a view of the game...

...waitin' on some Grillfellas.

Dude, relax your chicken.

It was great meeting some of the guys, sorry I couldn't stay longer. Next time I'll be there all day and I'll bring the grill.

Nice to have met you Brent. Thank you for making an effort to meet with us. Next time we will see you again. How is the garden coming along. The tomatoes were great. Dazzo did it again with the best pancit ever. Instead of cooking it in a Weber gasser Dazzo cooked with the charcoal kettle with his Weber wok. It was a great day hanging out with the grillfellas. Perfect shady spot with a hint for breeze. Couldn't get any better than that.

Hey, Dazzo- It did get MUCH better once you started cooking.  :D Pleasure to meet you, Brent! Next time stay for the main event. It was nice hanging out with you all as always. We were grilling with a breeze in the shade in the am but on the way back home it got up to 103F on the highway. Back in my area near the bay the temperature was a cool 78F. Crazy Bay Area weather. 8)

Story time:
Once we were done cooking we gave our hot coals to this dude that had a black MBH. I told him we were part of WKC and he asked me if I ever seen a kettle as old as his. I eyed it for a sec and guessed it was mid 70's- and he told me I was right on the money. His family got it shortly before he was born in '79. Mission accomplished. If you are reading this, I hope you join us Mr. P!

Last but not least, moar pix!

Our setup- 18.5" MT, 22.5" Redhead OTG, 22.5" Brown OTG, and SJ just for trading. No lighter fluid here, folks.

Step-by-step. The final product was approved by not one but TWO filipinos.

Argentflame brought some lumpia for appetizers.

Brett Brown's homegrown tomatoes. We ended up snacking on these. :)

Argentflame's Fig jam infused ABT's and Pinoy pork skewers

Awright !!!

Varied Cookups, varied kettles, food, fun, friends !!!!!

Several different "now Meetup traditional" items on the menu and it looks like you actually got to cook & then sit down & eat this time !!!!
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
