I wish weber would make a Performer in a 26er.

I was thinking a 26er lid/bowl embedded in a ranch style frame would be a top seller.

As I recall, there was some talk by Weber that a 26" Performer might possibly be in the works for some time in the future? I remember reading a post on this forum sometime last year that Weber had sent out questionaires at random to various Weber customers trying to measure interest in such a product.

Someone had actually posted a drawing that Weber had sent them of what it might look like. It was going to be a 26" grill built into an enclosed cart with cabinet doors underneath. In addition to the 26" grill, it was going to have a small side burner built into the top of the work table on the other side like a gas grill. If Weber ever decided to actually make it, it was supposed to sell for $699.99.

Does anyone else ever remember reading about this?

I'd love to see a 26 performer. I'd love even more if they would do Copper, Blue or Crimson in 26". I'm still bummed they dropped blue.
