Done
1. Pressure washed grill and cart.
2. Hand sanded for approx 4 hours.
3. Neutralized the remaining rust.
4. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration paint with airless sprayer.
5. Cleaned lid.

To do
1. Refinish the handle.
2. Patch the bowl in three places.
3. Clean the bowl.
4. One more coat of paint on the underside.

I should be finished in the next week or so...

That looks amazing...would love to hear more details about the lid and bowl especially as the work gets done.
Was the cart more work than you expected?

The cart was about what I expected.  The cleanup of the cart was just detailed work and not difficult.  Wrought iron furniture is easy to restore.  The bowl has three small areas of damage I need to address.  I will provide more updates as I progress.

Looks great! The cart came out looking fantastic. too bad the bowl wasn't in better condition.

It's a work of kettle art! Now we just need that blue ranger.

The blue kettle and the white cart are a great combo. Those chariot wheels are pretty awesome too.
