For 6 months that's pretty awesome! Surprisingly...the one grill that stands out is the brownie! not one of my favorite colors, but is sure nice looking. Great work!

Cleaned em up with soap and water first to get all the crud off.  Then used a dollar store degreaser.  Then to bring out the shine in the black one I put a little olive oil on a rag and sprayed a little Pam right on the kettle.  Works beautifully.

How long does the shine last?

I have only had them like this for a few weeks, so I don't know how long it will last.  I know a couple other guys on here have done it as well, so maybe they can chime in on how long the oil will keep the porcelain looking good.

From what I recall reading, they'll fade pretty quick once you put the heat to em.  Still, just touch-up with another light coat and back-in-business.  :)
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!
