Who needs a crawfish boiler?!  ;D
Looks great!

It's been too long since I've done one and been thinking about them lately. I like to add crab claws to mine. For some reason I've always called it a low country boil.
I don't do crawfish but I'm all in on the shrimp, corn etc.

Is that a Sam Adams OctoberFest? I can't believe it's already that time again.

Same, we don't mess with crawfish but crab claws would be an amazing addition.

First OctoberFest I've seen and I snatched up a 12 pack.  One also went into the boil.... Got leftovers, might go well with tonight's tri tip!

Speaking of Tri-Tips . . . I wandering through Publix the other day and was looking at them.  I noticed two of them had been mistagged as London Broils.  The regular price on the Tri-Tips was $18 lb.  The London Broils were only $8 lb.

That meal look delicious.  Seeing that reminds me of day trips to the beach when the kids were younger.  We'd stop at a place for dinner called the Crab Pot for a seafood boil, before the 2 1/2 hour drive back home, where everyone proceeded to fall asleep, haha.  I'm not a crawfish person either, so yes, crab WOULD be a nice substitute.

I'm sure there was a lot of work on both ends of this meal, both in preparation and clean up!

Looks great ! What was your method of keeping heat up on the cooking pot ? I just did a seafood boil today but it was windy outside so I settled for cooking inside on the stove. Never the best option to stink up the house with seafood but we were able to have the windows open today.

Thanks Walter!  Nothing special to keep the heat up, but I must admit I had to keep feeding coal to this beast.  I'm thinking just a basic 18" kettle would have been a better choice with more focused heat under the pot.

And I agree, much better (and fun) to cook seafood outside.

Cheers bud...
