Hey all,
Soon to be a Weber kettle owner...looking at purchasing a new Weber Summit Charcoal Grilling Center as soon as the new models becomes available. I hope there is some love for the SCGC here along with the original kettles. From what I can tell, most things apply across the board pretty well.
I was looking for the one grill that will do absolutely everything I need, and though I don't like the price, it really has everything I want/need. Large enough for brisket and multiple racks, efficient enough to use in the middle of a Canadian winter (well, at -20 C anyways), and can hold a low/slow for 16 hours as well a sear a great steak. Will probably pick up a slow/sear around the same time as it seems to be the perfect accessory.
I come from the Kamado world (Big Steel Keg) which is wearing out and many great years...
