Hello all, it's been a while! I wanted to pop in and share a quick MOD from today. Nothing exciting but just a kettle that I like...

As a kettle historian, I don't usually "modernize" older kettles, but I wanted to retro fit a generation 1 Master Touch ash catching system to my 1983 E code One Touch. I've got to say, I'm pleased with the look and the functionality. I still need to finish cleaning the legs, wheels and triangle but she's ready for a cook tonight. I put on some 1983 era logo Kansas City/Omaha Royals bowl handles on with a WKC 7th year Chicago Meetup lid handle. The blonde finish works nicely with the '83 fire engine red. Last pic is of her hot!!

Looks great!  I also think it looks and works better. I have done the same on my blue 18"

Did the same on an 84.

Love those handles...even as a Cardinals fan!

Looks great Craig! Throw a lid bail on there and you've got a sweet MT. I did one awhile back and love it. I agree with the functionality of the ash pan

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Very nice, I think I commented about those royals handles in another thread, love em.
