SSP logo plate
« on: April 16, 2020, 02:02:35 PM »
I have an SSP logo plate I need to put back on. Can anyone tell me how to put back on. Whatever was helping it stay on is lost.

High heat silicone works pretty well. I put a bead around the back of the plate, put it in place and then used it to make a gasket around the pegs.

I am sure someone knows the right retaining washers to use tho.

Not sure what they’re called but here’s a picture.

Those are push nuts. Available at your local Ace Hardware.

Push nut
Locking washer
Retaining washer
Push on washer

Names wasn't my issue, it was finding the right size for a decent price that didn't come in a 50 pack.

Since it was a cooker rat rod I went with free as I already had the tube.
