I came across this community by accident since I was searching for an update to the 5 lb tank on my 1990 Weber SS Performer Grill. After researching and reading many posts, I called Weber directly and ordered the QCC1 Hose and regulator assembly, Performer Touch N Go (P/N 62642) I will get a manchester tank from Ace Hardware to complete the conversion. I have had my Weber Performer for 19 years and have always kept it clean after each use and covered when not in use. I really enjoy slowing down and taking the time to grill with charcoal. I also have a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker 18" and a Weber Spirit E-210 Gas Grill. My first Weber was a 1985 Genesis which we donated to the Vietnam Vets since we wanted a smaller gas grill for our lanai.
