Hi all,
Found this site while re-searching a kettle grill I could not pass up on this afternoon.  I have been a Weber gasser guy for more than 30 years, and the past few months I have been really wanting to get into charcoal cooking with a kettle type grill.  I will send another post in the Weber Kettle Cooking forum on this site, as it is a long history, and I did not want to make my intro too long.  A kettle grill fell into my lap today which was too good to pass up.  From afar, thought I might have scored on an old Weber kettle, it was close but not to be, it was not an old Weber kettle, it was an old Happy Cooker.  I will post all the details in my next posting, hope being it is not a Weber will not be held against me.
I did cook with the kettle tonight as my first true kettle cook, and it was great.  I see more and more cooks in my future.  Hope I can still participate.

Welcome to the club!!!

Greetings from Greendale, WI.  There is nothing wrong with using a Happy Cooker.  I should mention that I may be a little biased, since I have "a few" Happy Cookers myself.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Hello and welcome to the WKC from Eugene, Oregon.  Happy C's have some innovations that are quite interesting.   Mine has a unique Master Touch lid design that can stop at a couple of different levels.   And, of course, there's always that IAP :)
