I was curious what everyone's opinion was on buying old Smokey Joe Kettles. Condition as close to mint as possible. All years up to recent and which are the rare ones to look for. Thanks!

Spend some time on the home page outside of the wkc app. There is an amazing amount of information on the sj and many other Weber's.

I have looked on here, but haven't seen much on this topic.

try that link.  there is also a database link within the link.

If your talking about values, there are no set values.  a kettle is worth what someone is willing to pay.  That's always changing.

I understand the values always change. I was just curious approximately what different ones are worth.

I just paid $20 plus shipping for what I thought might be my birth year of 1982. It was new in the box but turned into a G code. Would I  have made the effort of having shipped the lady a label for it so she can send it to me.. probably not if I knew it wasn't my birth year. I would sell it for what I paid for it, $35 plus shipping. That is the value of the Joe I just bought.
