Congratulations, Kingforce!  You'll love the Performer!  Your story has me reminiscing back to 2 years ago when I, similarly. convinced my wife to let me get a new grill.  A trip down to Kansas City to C & B and a beautiful blue Performer was all mine.  It's first cook was not long to come as it was used for the holiday beef tenderloin that would be our Christmas supper.  (It kind of has me tearing up a little.)  Okay not really but still a good memory.  Now how to bring up the subject of the limited edition holiday RED kettle.....
