Wait! Did I read that correctly? You used a thermometer?  All kidding aside, those look really good bro. Which one was better, roto or spatchcock?

Lol yeah @kettlebb, I used a total of three thermometers. One surface thermometer on each grate and then one meat thermometer. Menards has surface thermometers for $4. I really like the surface thermos since I can move them around. And for the roti, I used a metal wire to hang one from the spit.

I think the roti was better. It was a nice change of pace since I've been smoking so much stuff lately. It was also slightly more moist.

Here's the spread.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
