Is that possibly a Euro?  I didn't think that colour  was available in North America.

Hopefully someone knows because I have no idea.
If nobody knows, I'll try asking over at Weber (otherwise, I don't want to bother them if someone already knows).

Hal

I don't know the answer to your question...but what I do know is I have a new grill added to my grail list!  (Trying saying that five times fast!)
"The Fairway" '74, 22" Turquose, 18" Red C code, 18" Blue DU code x2, Gen 2 Grass Green Performer, 26" Glen Blue, Spring Green, "Bone", Turquose, Blue Wave, Wedgewood Blue, "Smoke", Crimson and Homer SJGs.  14" and 18" WSM

Grails (HELP!): IMPERIAL GLEN BLUE!

I believe Weber did offer this in the US but only thru Pampered Chef?? as some sort of hostess incentive gift. The color is/was also readily  available in Europe

It's not just a grill, it's a WEBER

Very rare in Europe too!
@zavod44 did you get yours?

Probably not, since both Zav & someone else are both trying to trade me for this one.  The problem they are having is that I like it & don't even know what I'd be willing to part with it for (until I see it anyway).

If I had known this when I used to travel overseas (work, extended family reunions, & visiting ex-wife's family), I would have looked for some interesting SJs to bring back home on the plane.  It was back before the baggage charges, so I could have even carefully packed a big one in a box as checked baggage.  Would have been fun looking.

Hal

Beautiful. The company is called the pampered chef if I recall correctly.
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

PotsieWeber

Thanks for the link to the old thread @MacEggs.

It's also an AU, so I wonder if they did them only in 2012 or a couple other years.  Maybe someone from across the pond knows.

Yes @Scott Zee is correct - it was a very limited run promo done for Pampered Chef... they did not sell it thou, it was a gift reward that the sales people could trade points in for so I think that's why you don't see many. I actually contacted pampered chef and posted on the message board seeing if anyone else had one but no responses...

One my favorite SJs for sure!

Picked up a black M code Smokey Joe today for $1 that will provide the donor lower charcoal grate for this one.

Congrats!  I also scored blue wave sjp in like a new conditioin.

I can not get into wkc forum from home. pc,so no pics yet.

Glad you found one.  Mine does have a ding in the porcelain of the bowl.  The pic is from the CL ad.  I'll take pics after cleaning and post.  It was listed for $25, I offered $20 over the phone.  Got there and noticed the charcoal grill was missing and wound up getting it for $10.

I'm new here & bought it because of the color.  Didn't know they were somewhat uncommon, I just liked the color.

That being said, I could tell there were some avid collectors in Illinois, so when 9 hours passed between contacting the guy and getting a response, I figured it was gone.  Turns out he works through the night and probably just woke up.

Hal
