I think the handles are on the correct side.  Or at least they are on the same side as my OT+/MT  red 'K' Kettle.

Great lookin work Java, it turned out great. I was supposed to be getting an old ash ring from someone who will remain nameless, so I can covert mine as well. I'm thinking I should let the guy off the hook and just build it with a newer assembly. Or I might just take a trip up north and borrow yours!
