So it started with my first A code Chocolate 18". Then I recently traded the little 18" away.  Before I can even box it up to ship,  I pick up a matching Chief, Warrior and a 22" Chocolate L code to swap into my Gen 2 Performer. (But I'll wait till mod month to make that bowl swap)
I just made the trip to pick them all up this weekend.
Now I'll be searching for a Pat. Pending 18" Brave to complete this Pat. Pending brownie set.
These will be the only large Kettles I have room for. At least for now..

I've read that on some of these older OT sweeps you can't fit an ash can ring without the sweep oblong holes protruding outside the ring. On this Chocolate bowl the oblong sweep holes all fall inside the ash can ring.
Looks to be a straight forward swap. I even have an early MT ash can/ring  I'll be using.

All the leg sockets have the same slanted orientation and will make it easy to install the ring without drilling holes on the leg sockets.

The issue with the vents protruding outside the ring is only on the early year 18" OTS.

Ahh,,,,, got it now.  I was thinking this was a 22" issue.
Other than drilling the Performer table mounting bracket holes, lid bail and gas assist holes on this Chocolate bowl, it looks to be a straight forward swap.
