Best cheapest way to ship a 18" kettle?
« on: April 17, 2017, 10:02:07 AM »
Any ideas. It's just far enough away not worth it to drive and they said they'd be willing to ship it. I'm thinking it'll still be like $40+ though

Someone mentioned Greyhound bus before as a less expensive option to UPS and FedEx.

UPS or FedEx accounts help drop it a bit.  And if you can ship to a commercial location rather than residential that will knock a few more bucks off.

I've been told Fastenal has reasonable shipping store to store: https://www.fastenal.com/en/22/third-...455717!64135591

Store locations: https://www.fastenal.com/locations.ex

I've never used them, but would give it a try.
