Chicago brownie
« on: June 16, 2016, 12:08:28 AM »
I saw this post for a brownie a few weeks back in Chicago. Posted it here in online finds along with a blue MT and Jeff said he could agent it if anyone was interested. I talked with him, then the seller and today a box arrived at my door. My first color! Thanks to Jeff for the help and advise. I appreciate all your help.

I'll post some more pics tomorrow outside. I'm working evenings this week, and didn't have time to open it before I left this afternoon. Just to damn excited not to put something up right now at 3 am!!

Congrats! It's a beauty.   Looks to be in real good shape.  Once cleaned up and ash disc put on, it should look just as good as Weldboy's NOS Ebay Coppermist he got few weeks ago.

@ArtyS. So, going by our age guide, I'm putting at 75'.

It has the large, dual bowl tabs which began in 75'. It is a "Bar B Kettle" lid vent which changed  in 76' to the current "Weber" logo and has the plastic wheels without the Weber cut in (75-76).

If you haven't checked out the age guide section yet, you should. It's very informative.
