ThermoWorks DOT thermometer
« on: May 24, 2016, 03:40:22 PM »
I picked up one of these to give an extra meat read to my ET732 and I have to say that I love this little thing.  So simple to use and the quality of the probe is way above the Maverick.  That's a sore subject too and need to call Maverick tomorrow for a replacement.  4 cooks and measures 111 in the house.  Before you ask it never was submersed - I learned that on my first one.  I like the wireless feature but have to say I just might be picking up some additional DOT's.

You can purchase a separate high temp grate air temp probe but wish you had the option of buying one with the unit to begin with.

I have a DOT too, and agree with your comments. When I purchased mine, additional probes were 20% off, so I got the grate probe at the same time.
