Rusty handel
« on: May 01, 2016, 02:02:27 PM »
My handle is starting to rust after about 5 years. I have always kept her covered. Is this covered under warranty?Or is this normal ?   .
Stay grilling  my friends!!!!

I think the warranty is only for rust-through. That kind of rust is normal insofar as I think they all do it. Other than cosmetic it shouldn't be a problem for many years. Tackle it with a file/sandpaper and BBQ paint I suppose if you want.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I'd just hit it with some WD40. It's very common.

They don't have those lids anymore, so you will get a bolt on handle style one.
