I picked this red ssp yesterday up for $30.00.  Got started on the clean up today.

That is a great color. I'd like to see the change when it is lit up.

Not a bad $30. Spend what you saved, and let Brian dress it up.
Still need a 22" yellow

Just fantastic!  Are you thinking about keeping the handles?

OMG that's looking beautiful.    Wonder how/where I could hide a Red SSP :(   I need more room (and haven't got the money for a second house).                                 SJ

Nice cleanup on that! Get ya some plastic bale rollers from Weber or wood ones (I think) from zavod44 And I see you're using the picture hosting service here; there are built-in medium and small links, just look around after you've uploaded, if you don't want to downsize them prior to uploading.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Wow, that cleaned up great! Nice find!

That's in grate shape. After your impressive clean up. I had a 93 parts ssp not much of it left, I already gave away most of it.
