Royal Oak "Ridge" briquettes are pretty good also. 100% hardwood. If you have a grocery store that carries Best Choice as a house brand, their charcoal is made by Royal Oak, and it's a little cheaper. I bought a 20# bag of Best Choice Ridge Briquettes the other day for $8. Burns clean, not a lot of ash, I was impressed. I have used Stubbs before, and I would put this right up there with it. I do like it better than KBB, but I still love Lump
