SS Performer ash ring restoration question
« on: August 19, 2015, 04:33:32 AM »
I am about to tackle the restoration of the ash ring and pan for my SS performer. I assume that the process will be that same as polishing the legs and ash pans. The question I have, how would I clean up that side plate  without rubbing off the painted  sections?

I use mothers metal polish and 0000 and clean it as good as possible , it shouldn't remove the paint .
