if:
EM around the outside, while prolly not as durable = better air esp. late in the burn

Sticking to Water pan above = easier refill, tho the V concept is a descent barrier so are spare fire bricks


& still building Mac's "ring" for fast fuse builds...

That's a neat looking unit.  I really don't see a need for the water trough, but that's just my opinion.  Maybe it works great.

Pretty big too …. I could see it being good for the Minion method. 

Are you gonna make one similar using some EM?  Thanks for sharing.
