I mentioned in my introductory thread how my weber was stolen in a big house break in.

Yesterday was my wife's birthday.

Well yesterday I arrive home from seeing a client and my wife has bought me a brand spanking new Cadac Kettle Braai.
I know it's not a Weber and this is a Weber forum, but I'm absolutely beaming!
The generosity of my wife has blown me away!
I'm just tidying up from last night's function and can't wait to unbox it.

I have never heard of one of those kettles until now.  I looked them up and saw a few youtube videos,  looks like a solid kettle and you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it.  Congrats dude.

I unboxed it today. Lid was damaged so I'm returning it tomorrow. Can't wait to get it going [emoji1]

It has the thermometer installed on the lid and the ash catcher at the bottom.
Far fancier than what I'm used to
