After almost year and a half,  (a couple months ago) I came across a pair of 8" steel wheels worthy for the Westerner. The tread is perfect and the wheels have the original white walls.  Probably a 9.5 on a scale of 10.  @Troy  This is dedicated to The Meat Ninja....The Westerner has new (old) shoes......

So what are they? NOS, refurbished or something totally unrelated to the old Webers?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Off of an old 26" Weber I purchased.  I already had an extra set of 8" Weber steel wheels and switched stuff around.  These 8" wheels are as close to NOS as I will find.  No cracking in the tread and the original white walls still look great (no touch up).

I only use kettles with lid bales.

Nice pair of 8"s! I'm in the process of restoring a pair for my 1969 Chief.
