Thunderdome Hot Wings cooked indirect around the Vortex and smoked with cherry chunks smoldering on the grills grate.

-----

Chicken wings and drummies were coated with a mixture of oil, Buffalo Wing Brat Seasoning, onion powder, garlic salt and Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce.

-----

Plated wings served with Blue Cheese dressing for dipping and a cold one!

Thanks for looking!

Looks good man...........do you ever use cherry, like powder, in the coating or rub....saw where somebody did that & it sounds good.....

I don't, but a while back a friend was looking to make a cherry based rub and I suggest cherry Kool Aid and he got back to me saying it worked well!

Do you ever reapply your wing sauce? Or just the once to start? Looks good!

On this one we did not reapply wing sauce towards the end. A previous time making wings we reapplied sauce to half the batch, side by side comparison both my wife and I preferred the taste without the 2nd application of wing sauce.

I gotta be honest, it's been so long since I've sauced my wings at the start that I forgot what they're like... I usually dunk them at the end in my sauce, then back on the grill for a few min... but i will have to give this method a shot. I agree with @THUNDERDOME, nice color!
