Doing chicken a few nights ago, wanted drip beans. Cooked chicken indirect for 30-40 or so mins over a drip pan but despite one side loaded with coals, my firebricks blocked too much heat. Moved them over to direct for another 15 mins or so.
Didn't manage to orientate the grill to provide access to the pan. Not interested in removing the grate.
"No problem, I know what to do." Here we go.
Don't laugh! It worked. They all made it into the drip pan. (And the beans were a hit!)
