Call me a sissy, but sometimes the Weber plastic handles get real hot. I was wondering if the wood handles get as hot as the plastic.
The wood sure looks nicer, and I like the idea of the new bolt on handles with the heat shield.

Wood doesn't get even close to as hot as plastic. I've never had an issue with wood.

The wood has a much better thermal property than the plastic....they don't get nearly as hot....
