Scores Of The Day: Brownie and Le Creuset, etc
« on: December 27, 2014, 03:31:38 PM »
Picked up this Brownie for a Grillfella today.

I did not realized it was a private estate sale. The lady inherited a house with an acre lot in the Castro Valley Hills. I saw this Le Creuset. I ran out of money after paying for the brownie. I pm'ed @LightningBoldtz  and texted @pbe gummi bear . I was convinced that this is worth $25. So I got some money at the ATM and bought it.

My scores for December. How about a free 18 and a free Yakima Rocketbox. I was ready to spend $150 on a Cargo box. I will take free any day.

A Freebie Redhead. Noticed the Fender Washers in the lid and bowl. Need to cover the rust holes. Also the handle with bolts.

An 18 gold, side table I always wanted one and a free chimney. $40 for all.

I'm still trying to talk myself into buying a meat slicer. These are heavy duty slicers from the estate sale where I picked up the brownie and LeCreuset. The owner used to own a restaurant. Then started his construction business.
$175

or $100

very nice Le Crueset, they are the Webers of enamaled dutch ovens.   That meat slicer is top notch, I used to use one light that years ago at the restaurant that I worked at.

In case you wanted to know the 26 is 26cm which turns out to be 5.5 Quart.  They only run $280 on Amazon brand new.  Awesome find.

Congrats dude.

Le Creuset is some bitchin cookware! I want a red and a green one. They also make a two tone brown that resembles the Copper Mist.

The Le Creuset is a fine piece of cookware. And the two Kettles look beauty.
