thanks guys. really excited to have it. it's been used, but well taken care of. you can see some minor weathering on the legs and there are blemishes on the bowl(inside and out) where the legs attach. they're not bad though. and, to be honest, I don't care about that because I can always swap in a new bowl. my main concern was the lid. it is pristine(aside from the handle being a bit tilted). the logo is perfect. handle wood shows some use, but no abuse. there's not even any rust on the rivet for the vent damper. charcoal grate has a smidge of surface rust(from normal use) and cooking grate is clean(but has been used). All in all, I'd rate its condition at an 8 of 10 for a near 20yr old grill(tilted handle, bowl blemishes, leg weathering and dark spots on handle wood). did a quick cook of pork chop tacos tonight. sliced boneless porkchops that were marinated since lunch and grilled on the joe in a veggie basket. tortillas were warmed in the same basket after meat was taken off. lesson learned, even w/both vents wide open, took a while to heat up, next time i'll leave the coals in the chimney a bit longer. but it did it's job really well.

I've been dreaming of a Bears one for a while now. But after the way they played against the Packers I'm not sure I want one. ;-)
