I feel like I read that they don't fit the new kettles, this could be me, reading things wrong in the middle of the night, but I just picked up an AU (2012) edition kettle and I hope they fit, so please tell me they do.

Order the normal 1 screw model and you're golden. Old kettles that had wood handles held on by 2 rivets obviously wouldn't be what you want.

OTOH if you do have 2-rivet handles, Brian still has Zavandles for you but remind him that you need 2-rivet handles

For an AU code, you might want to do a mod on the bowl straps for a single-screw handle.
Otherwise, there is the potential for the outer part to "helicopter" and ultimately damage the wood over time. Your call.
I did
THIS
to help prevent that.
