I love my Mexican made VW Jetta TDI.

TDI is in quite rare in the US, is it? In Germany about 80% of the sold VW are TDI.

I wouldn't say they are rare, but they don't sell a lot of them. Diesel is starting to become more popular here in the US. More and more gas stations are starting to sell it. Some of the American manufactures are producing diesel cars and SUVs now.

I thought the same thing.  Is that a newer color over there?   I would kill for a Bone White and/or Metallic Blue SJ!!

The metallic blue is called "slate blue" and is new to the 2014 range of Weber kettles.

Post the German price list.  Webers sell for a premium in Germany!  :'(

Due US Customs, we left a red Genesis and a Smokey Joe on the curb in Wiesbaden in 2012.  They were gone in a flash!

At least we made some folks very happy.

I don´t have a complete price list… but i know Weber Grills are quite expensive in Germany.

For example: a 22.5 OTG, which is in Germany a 57 Mastertouch costs €289, thats about $387.
A Performer Platinum, which is called Performer Deluxe GBS Gourmet costs €599, thats about $802.

I love my German vehicles!

I can understand this… What do you drive?

I have an x5 and the Mrs. Gummi has a 3-series touring. Both manual of course. Many of my "it's in the truck kettle score pics are with them  :)

I may PM you on this gumms.  I am considering a high mileage purchase and might want to know what to stay away from

Here's a link to an Ivory OTP on Ebay.de

No doubt the seller speaks English and might quote shipping to the Great White North...

Don't Obi and Hornbach carry Weber?   :)

Inside Germany, Bundespost is very affordable.  Mailing anything from Germany to North America can get expensive.   :o

Obi and Hornbach carry Weber for sure… but all the Hardwarestores (Baumärkte) carry just a small bit of the Weber-range. Not for sure if they carry Smokey Joes.
They have the black 57 Mastertouch and the black 47 OTP for sure…

The Deutsche Post (formerly known as Bundespost) is affordable.
Inside Germany 30kg can be sent for about 14 Euros.

To the US for 20kg about 69 Euros, for maximum 31,5kg about 94 Euros.

I was in the Weber-place to be in my area today.

This weekend my parents celebrate their 60th birthday – I am the man at the kettles and three pulled pork, 60 burgers and a lots of sausages want to be cooked tomorrow.

I just bought some wood chunks, a tool holder and a small gift for my dad…
