I just got home at midnight from Colorado and found this on the counter. Kids were all asleep so I couldn't ask who brought this over, but I'm pretty sure it was my next door neighbor Tony. Can you guys help me determine if this is a Weber warming rack?  All the warming racks I could find in my WKC search results were stainless steel and this one appears to have a black porcelain like finish to it.

I don't think that will work on the flip grate. If you put any weight on that, it will lever the grate open and drop whats on it.
If it breathes, we can cook it!

Yes you are right about the hinged grate. My MT just happened to be in the kitchen so I just wanted to get a shot of how it looks on the grate.  In this case the gourmet grate just happened to be in the kettle already.

Wait, we are supposed to keep our grills INSIDE the house?

My wife will never go for that :)

LOL. My wife and I were out of town so I pulled the MT inside from the deck.

Heyjude

Gummi,
this needs added to the list.

If you keep your Weber in the kitchen when you go out of town, you might have Weberitis...

If this makes complete logical sense to you (which it does to me) you might have weberitis.

I say no, it's not. Mine is SS or chrome plated.
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

No, it's definitely not a Weber rack.
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

Bummer, my neighbor Tony found it near where he had stored the '81 SJ that he gave me last week.  Oh well, it's may not be a Weber rack, but will still serve a purpose and be useful during cooks.

I just read this thread for the first time and laughed my ass off at the laid back way he said "mt in the kitchen" as if to say what, you guys don't have a grill in your kitchen?

Not really sure how this message gets sent.

Duke

It's a big green egg warming rack, but hey if it works.
