This is the way that I'm doing Porterhouses from now on.  I had them cut three 2" ones for me.  A little EVOO & S/P/G then onto the grill, indirect while the corn got some caramelization.



Took the corn in to a warm over, which was also keeping the tater wedges warm, then the steaks went on direct.



While the steaks were resting, I assembled the Caprese Salad.



Always have some sautéed mushrooms and onions when Beef is What's for Dinner . . .



There was plenty for everyone.



Dinner is Served.

It's a lot easier to control the cooking of these thicker steaks and fewer to keep an eye on.
