Title: Photos of handles
Post by: Dale Benson on February 22, 2014, 11:22:37 AM
Do we have photos of the various types of handles and the years they were used? Were different logos and/or slogans used (on the handles), and what years were they used? Might be kinda fun to see, and might be a useful aid in determining age of some of our kettles.

I've got some loose ones (including the old metal ones) that I will be gathering for a lineup photo. I'm at work now though.

Have the wooden handles always been the same, with simply the word Weber printed (or burned, or embossed, or whatever)? Or were there times when additional text appeared (like the then current advertising slogan for example)?

Here's my 2013 Diet Dew SJS. Not old, but I have not seen another one.
