I bought a 2000 Blue Platinum the other day which had an aftermarket lid thermometer installed in the lid.
The thermometer is crap and i wanted to replace it with the new style weber lid thermometer.
But i'm having trouble finding them on-line, i called Weber Aus and they wouldn't sell me one because drilling a hole in the lid would void the warranty and even though i told them it had one installed in it already they said they only keep a few of them in stock for warranty claims
So i've done a bit of searching on the net and am having trouble finding them
Any help with where to purchase one or even part numbers for the thermometer and bezel would be great

I purchased two of them direct from weber a while back. The bezel and therm come together under part #70180. You could also view/purchase here:
