Title: My new (2007) upside down WSM
Post by: javahog2002 on October 27, 2013, 10:15:55 PM
My agent delivered my new (DI - 2007) WSM 18.5. I paid $85 + tax.

The grill straps were installed upside down.

The water pan would be resting on charcoal.

After fixing the straps, I cleaned her up and added a new hinged top grate. Then I  loaded her up with baby backs and St. Louis style ribs

First cook was a winner. She needs a new wood handle.

I think so. Also the bottom cooking grate looks like a charcoal grate for a 22.5 kettle
