Title: SS performer regulator replacement
Post by: zavod44 on September 01, 2012, 08:50:47 AM
Troy What regulator did you get from Menards?  Did it have the hoses or did you have to replace the hoses with the one from the performer?   I'm trying to find an off the shelf regulator to go on my Frankenperformer project.

Everything was a perfect fit. The package only contained the regulator. It connected perfectly to the host and the quick connect fitting.
From what I remember, it was 16 or 17 bucks.

Jeff K is the one that told me about it.

The part I used for the regulator was

Mr. Heater
Propane Low Pressure Regulator
3/8" female pipe thread X restricted flow soft nose P.O.L.
1/2" outlet
75,000 BTU capacity
Pt. # F276136

All that info is printed right on the plastic package.

Menards carried it in their grill section.  There was an endcap that carried various fittings, nozzles, regulators, and other misc parts for propane and other gas.

I didnt see any hoses so you might have to dig deeper in your parts pile at home Brian!
