I picked up this 18" OTS on CL for $20. My oldest son and I spent about an hour cleaning it up so it looks presentable when we pass it on to a single mom in our church who wants to try her hand at grilling. We also picked up a standard cover, tool hook & replacement hinged grate on clearance at Target and a bag of Royal Oak Lump at Wal-Mart. I'll be sure to include a chimney and brush too... I have some no-name extras from past CL deals lying around. I think that, with a few lessons, it'll be a good setup for her that should last for years to come.
I'm sharing this with you all because in many ways it is your generosity with one another that has inspired me to share the joy of cooking on a Weber with friends & family in my community. Thank you!

That's a great story and I'm sure the bonding time was memorable. I like your son's shirt. I can tell he was having a blast. :)
