Did I need one? No... But I'll clean it up, maybe mod it a little and play with it a while before passing it along to someone who does need one. Needs grates and TLC. Even came with a cover!
Cheers!
What a great find! Is it a 22 inch? $20 is almost free. You will have it shining like new in short order I'm sure.

Thanks! It's a 22".... couldn't believe it - and it had been listed for two days. The lady had a Weber Spirit gasser also listed as well as a regular Weber kettle - each for $20. The main picture on the listing was the gasser so I guess people just skipped over it. 2009 was the first year for the lid thermometer, but no probe grommet until 2014 I believe. Maybe I'll drill it for a grommet - maybe not. It's fun to have a project going though and yeah, hopefully it shines up nicely. : )
What a steal! Congrats!

Yeah always nice to snag a bargain! Weber collecting is pretty rare over here still, so it's not too hard to snag them. I have noticed more are getting into it on fb but nowhere near as popular as it is over there in the US!
Look forward to seeing some cleanup pics
