Title: Bird feeder light
Post by: Tommie on November 24, 2025, 06:58:57 AM
Currently overhauling the pergola for winter (closing the sides off from driving rain). Got a lil corner for the 26 in there and decided to convert one of my bird feeders into a light to hang over the top of the grill.

Included converting it from 4 legs to 3, spraying the handles and adding wheels lol

Will post some pics when I get round to fitting it once the pergolas finished but thought I'd share

Spent Sunday closing off the walls in the pergola. No more driving rain and leaves! Kitted out now with the essential grills and as planned, bird feeder light

Nice set up Tommie, could use that in Toronto to keep the snow off. But there's no sound better when you hear the snow flakes hit the kettle lid and sizzle, other than steak sizzling :)
Cheers

Thank you mate. That does sound lush. I can only imagine, we haven't had snow here for a few years. We just get loads and loads of rain throughout the winter!

Wow, that is a proper grilling spot!  The light is cool and the fireplace looks warm.  Nice job!

Cheers
