Been lurking for a while, but this is my first "real post" here, so please be easy on me :)
Been looking at the 26'rs for a while & searching CL a lot, but they were always out of my area or priced around $200. Had 1 in the Amazon cart a couple of times, but never hit the order button....... So, today I come in from mowing the lawn & weeding the garden & cracked a beer...... Sat down & pulled up CL for a Weber search....... First listing up was 26.75" Weber for $99!...... Great I thought..... It was in my home town...... Great I thought..... Thought it's probably gone by now, but I immediately called & the guy was surprised that it was up on CL already & said he just put it up a couple minutes ago..... I asked his address & said I will be their in 10 minutes with cash, no BS..... It was 7 minutes from my house! .... So, I gave him a $1 tip & took it home..... Looking forward to cooking on it to say the least..... It was used about 5x he said, & looks new with the exception of some color on the grate & lower bowl has some light ash covering still on it ..... Right place, right time I guess?

Right place. Right time. That goes for both the 26er and WKC itself. Happy to have you here Scott, and congrats on the score. My 26 came to me the same way: called a guy on CL here in Chicago and he said "But I just pressed the button on the listing! How does that work?" It was meant to be!

Great score. You will love the 26. I use mine most if the time now. If I had to have only one grill, it would be a 26. Luckily, my wife doesn't force that upon me :)
Incredible deal, and an incredible story. It makes me so happy, and I'm not even the one who got a beautiful 26 for $99!

Yeah, that seems to be a common issue on some forum software when viewing on the Apple i devices.

Nice score! It's good to be lucky when something like that gets posted. Of course you have to be looking often in order to hit one. That's a great addition to the collection.
My guess is that the picture is actually upside down but has orientation information embedded within that the Apple S/W ignores. If you open it with some photo editor and save it, that might fix it.
