This is my 1st purchase of a used Weber. I picked it up along with a SnS for $50. But, I really have no idea what I have.

I figure this wouldn't be a problem for all of the collectors on the forum.
If I need to post more pics, let me know. I have a WKC Photo account, but I seem to have been locked out of it.

Pic links aren't working for me BD but excited to see what ya found!
The SNS is worth what you paid, looking forward to seeing the 1st score.
Sorry about the pics. I guess they work for because it's a link to my Amazon Photo account . . . duh ! ! !
Let me try to get back into my WKC-Pics account.

Try these. I got back into my WKC-Pics account and thought I could post the pics directly from there. But so far, no joy.
Hopefully, these links actually work.

What you have is a 2002 One Touch Platinum. It was the precursor to the Stainless Steel Performer.
BTW, I was able to fix your post so the photos display.
Nice OTP! BTW, those came with SS sweeps and probably the best ash bucket system Weber made. Some new wheels and a light sanding / 303 treatment on that table will make it shine. I used a random orbital sander with fine grits higher and higher.... works well.

Thank you
@Cellar2ful, just curious what I did wrong.
Probably my 1st and only score,
@1spacemanspiff. As you probably see in the background, I live in my motorhome. I haven't figured out how I'm gonna travel with this one yet. I guess I need a bigger trailer . . . No chance of me getting little brothers and sisters.
Yours looks really sweet,
@bamakettles. Mine has several battle scars, and I'm okay with that. Thanks for tip on cleaning agents. Also, where did you get the wooden handle? I know that, over the years, I've seen them in this site, just wondering where you got yours.

Thanks, it's been a great cooker - had it for about 3 years now. Handle from Brian O'Neal @zavod44

Is that the one that has the meat thermometer built into the lid handle?
