Going to see if I can cool it after this one..... Who thinks I can?
Took a little trip up to Franklin, TN this afternoon and picked up this beauty. Very nice gentleman, said he used it once and he's going Primo Kamado for a while. He also said he once owned a first gen Summit Charcoal Grilling Center and regrets ever selling it. Anyway, can't beat half price of a new one for this stunner. Also came with the bottle opener and Weber plate. Will look nice next to the Diner Green.

It's such a vicious cycle. As soon as you try to trim down you can bet that's exactly when new exciting things pop up that just can't be avoided! Ahh Weberitis 8)

Thanks! No buyer's remorse for this one. I think the solution is to stay away from Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for a while - we'll see if I can. I want to focus more on cooking this spring and summer.

Thanks! Kettle hunting is time consuming and as I said, I'm going to cool it for a while and focus on honing my cooking skills. One goal is to take a group photo shoot of all my grills soon which will probably take the best part of a Saturday to accomplish.

Huntsville, we have a problem.
Anybody else grow up in the 70s and recognize one of these? It's a fully working mint condition Whiz Grid that happens to match my new kettle. We cooked on these early in my life - probably went through two or three of them. Funny it's the exact same color as the anniversary Hot Rod Yellow of this kettle.

I remember cooking bacon, sausage and burgers on these more than anything.... Crazy what recipes are in the cookbook that came with it.
