Title: Flat top lid question

Any one know if a flat top 26" lid (circa 1990) would fit on a modern 26" bowl?  I think they're both 26.75".  I know the grates aren't interchangeable between the versions, but don't know about the lids & bowls.  Thanks folks.   (I did some searches, but came up empty.)

You can use a modern 26 grate in the vintage.  It will just nestle against the bowl slightly above the straps.  Will work fine.
