Hello, I have a 2003 Performer Touch-n-Go that is missing the lid handle - including the metal hoop. Torn off at the spot welds. Any suggestions as to a suitable replacement? I do not need the thermometer as I use a 2 probe electric thermopro. I initially was thinking of getting one of the newer bolt on lid handles, however I am sure the bolt holes will not line up with the spot weld holes. Also considered getting some similar size strap iron, bending to shape of original, bolting on and then adding a wood grip.
Attached is photo of lid.
I might have a spare handle I can send you. I am out of town currently but will check my boneyard of kettle parts this weekend when I return.
Maybe
@1spacemanspiff has one. He's in the Sacramento area.
I recommend the lilyankee handle here in member sales/trades. I think I have a therm cover.

From what I can surmise, the lilyankee handles are sold out and it will be a while until the next production run. So if either of you gentlemen have spare handles that you are willing to part with let me know. I prefer PayPal for payment. Thanks for considering. Also, 1spacemanspiff, I can pick up - I am just N/E of the EG city limits off of Waterman.
Looks like a have a line on a handle strap. Thank you all who replied. It is a welcome experience with the responses and friendly advice. Thank you.
Finished lid with new handle. Thank you Josh for having a spare handle.
Glad you got it worked out. The replacement looks great!
