Post by: Vwbuggin64 on April 28, 2021, 11:23:07 PM
Does anyone know the going rate for a Happy Cooker like this?

Your market may vary, but this is one that I sold on Memorial Day weekend last year.

I will say again now as I do every time I talk about HC's,
it's a crying shame these don't get the respect and attention
that they deserve.
I had that posted for about 4 days and had a handful of replys.
Most wanted a discount which at a whole $35 price tag I refused
each and every time.  I would have loved to have kept this one,
and would have in a heartbeat if it was red, but I can only keep
so many.

My experience was similar with a redhead pedestal HC (unhinged variety).  It took what I thought to be an inordinate amount of time to sell for $25 after spending a ridiculous amount of time rehabbing it.  On the plus side, I did manage to keep the internal ash pan.

Sweet.  That one would have represented proudly in my lineup of reds.
